Reverse Traverse

Looking for the ultimate Pow Experience to cap an Epic season? Want to pull out a ticket from the premier Ski Bucket List of all time?

Then consider the Grande Esplanade Traverse or Reverse Traverse

In addition to this season's planned South to North Traverse, GAH for the first time ever is offering a Reverse Traverse (North to South) from April 7th to April 14th, 2012. The regular traverse has only been done 4 times ever but now there's a chance to head south from Sentry and stop at the next three amazing lodges Vista, Meadow and end up in the sunny southern Esplanades at Sunrise Lodge

Along the journey you'll have a chance to shred any one of the 140 named ski runs. What makes this destination world class is that the metamorphic Esplanade Range provides every conceivable aspect. In April it's not uncommon to ski corn snow on the southern sides and waist deep powder on the northern aspects all in the same day.  Located in the northern Selkirk range at the axis of the Purcell Range to the south and the Rocky Mountains to the east is the key to the quantity and especially the quality of the snowpack that will await you this season

Long daylight hours guarantee big days for those who want them or lots of chance to just chill out at the lodges and enjoy the Spring sun

This is a Guided and Catered Trip which means bring only your ski gear and GAH does the rest. Light day packs can be used and your gear will be flown to all the lodges so that extra set of clothes or your favorite bottle of wine will be waiting at all your stops. At the end of the trip your remaining gear  will be flown back out. With an industry leading Client:Guide ratio of 6 everyone can ski in the group that suits them best
