Ski Touring Growth Trajectory

The growth trajectory of Ski Touring or any of its' noble variations like Telemark, Split Boarding, or Freeriding seems to defy the recessionary fears gripping the global economy. GAH's seen Year over Year bookings increase of 33% from this time last year

Why is this? One reason for sure is that it's cheap by industry comparisons. Breakfast fuel is a lot cheaper than Jet Fuel, Diesel Fuel or power for the Chairlift

What's the attraction to walking up hill with a backpack, pulling off your climbing skins and carrying all that gear all day long?  Our guests tell us it's because it's fun.  No lift lines, no filing in a row and no high octane. It's just you and the primordial elements in the backcountry.  That seems  to keep the stress levels to a minimum

The conditoning benefits are obvious.  Ski Touring after all works the whole body not just the quads. The soft snow is alot easier on the ligaments than frozen moguls.  Less wear and tear on the body means you can ski tour as long as your can hit a golf ball

Quality not Quantity!  One client  told us that the trip was worth it after they made their first turn. Most newcomers to Ski Touring are stunned to learn that skiing dry powder is the norm not the exception

Give it a try this winter
