The Epic is a Ski Mountaineering Race scheduled for April 10th, 2010. Where else can you pay $200 for helicopter flights, one night accomadation including dinner and breakfast? Sentry Mountain Lodge Update

Construction of Sentry Mountain Lodge will commence July 2010. A plan is in place to create a structure that has extremely low carbon emissions, proper snow country design and uses sustainable forms of energy. The winds of change are starting to blow up in the backcountry. New technology is one reason super star skiers are heading into the hills. The main reason though is Freedom. Freedom from lift lines, freedom from a crowded snow cat and freedom from being herded in and out of a helicopter is what's driving a bold young powder hungry generation into the backcountry.
