Snow Conditions

Our custodian Cody Lank spent January 5th, 2010 digging out Vista Lodge. Cody says he's never seen more snow in all his years in the Esplanades Currently there is 260-310cm of settled powder snow. Temperatures are expected to be -5 to -10C for the next few days

Matchstick Productions

5 Time Emmy Award winning Matchstick Productions (MSP) began filming at Meadow Lodge January 6th. They are stoked to try new zones near the lodge before they head over to brand new Vista Lodge terrain. This unique project is led by professional Free Skiing Legends Eric Hjorleifson and Mark Abma. A tight group of MSP cinematographers along with Powder Magazine Photographer Ian Coble are on hand to catch all the action.

Sentry Fire Update
|
| |
Sentry Mountain Lodge caught fire early in the evening on December 02/09. Despite the efforts of three staff to combat the flames from spreading the lodge was destroyed. Thankfully no one was injured. Sentry will never be replaced but it will be rebuilt and we will keep you postedon the progress
