| On September 7th, the summer hiking season came to an end and what a busy summer we had. 24 separate groups from all over the world had a chance to experience first hand the magical alpine setting of the Esplanade Range in British Columbia. Read more on the summer season here |

| This month GAH unveils a brand new website. The new site is intended to showcase both the summer and winter options for adventure seeking people from around the globe. New for the site will enhanced functionality and a new Community section which will allow media sharing for all. |

Nordic Update:

| As soon as the snow depths reach the first band on the snow stake (30 cm) the Secret Valley Altitude Training Center will be open. Last year the Nordic season began on 100% real snow on September 28th and Team Canada tested out the track in early October. See more |

Matchstick Productions Filming of “Claim”

| Matchstick Productions spent nearly two weeks at GAH last January. Hugo Harrison, Eric Hjorleifson and Chris Rubens are three of the greatest skiers on the planet right now. Much of their new movie was shot in a 50 acre area surrounding Sentry Mountain Lodge. |
