| Enough about the global economic crisis. We all know it's snowing out there and a person has to ski. GAH is getting prepared for the busiest ski season in the 22 years in the business. The reason guests keep telling us, is having the chance to explore over 150 square kilometers of powder perfect Terrain. |

Snow Update

As of 9:00 AM MST on November 19th, there was over 150 cm settled snow in front of the webcam at 2109 meters elevation at Sentry Mountain Lodge.

Nordic Update
|
| |
| The brand new ski season in the Esplanade Range began on October 26th. Four hours after landing at Sentry Lodge to 70 cm of nicely settled snow, a grooming crew established a network of more than 2.0 kilometers of Groomed and Track-set trails. Foothills Nordic and Alberta World Cup Nordic Teams pictured above quickly responded by flying in for some early season training. |

| Emmy Award winning Matchstick Production and GAH are currently in discussions about trying to make it three years in a row. Coming off very strong sales for their new movie Claim, Matchstick is ready to take it to the next level. We'll keep you posted on this one!! |

Best Winter Deals

| There is enough snow right now to be skiing with GAH!! For mid winter bookings here are some of your best winter deals. Sunrise Lodge is booking fast but the week of Jan10-17th is still available. The newly renovated Meadow also happens to be the highest of all four lodges and has the best options for those looking to explore the central Esplanade Range. The weeks of Jan 24-Feb 21 at Meadow are still available for those wishing to ski some of the longest powder runs in the mountain range. New Years at Vista Beach is the best choice for sun worshippers. Follow the trail of the Matchstick group and check out Sentry's amazing alpine and tree skiing terrain. There is still room during Jan 31- Feb21st. |
