To Book a Trip

There are two types of trips that can be booked. One way to go is book a Lodge Rental Trip often referred to as a Self Guided trip. It's a great option for budget savvy guests wishing to tackle all the planning and food management. Another option is to book a Fully Guided/Catered Trip. Lodge Rental |
A $3000 deposit is required at time of booking to hold a lodge. Everyone booked in the group will be charged $400/person for helicopter fees. $500 extra will be charged for each additional person in groups larger than 12 people. This does not include $400/person for helicopter flight fees.The Final payment is due 12 weeks prior to your trip commencement date. A custodian will be present on all Lodge Rental Trips. Minimum group size in any one lodge is 2 people. Maximum number of people allowed in each lodge is 16. Third party guides and cooks are to be included in your group size. Lodge Rental Groups must submit a Group Resume prior to their Trip |

Guided/Catered |
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The final payment of the balance owing is due 12 weeks prior to your trip. Guided Catered Trips are priced as $/person. Guided/Catered trips include all helicopter costs, food, cook and certified Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) with a Client/Guide Ratio: 6 |

Cancellations |
Payments made to Golden Alpine Holidays Inc. will not be refunded by the corporation. This includes flights for Lodge Rental groups. Refunds for cancelled trips can only be collected if you purchase Cancellation Insurance from a reputable Insurance Agent. You can contact Carla.w@telus.net with Uniglobe Custom Travel or phone 1-888-532-2487 to make your own plans. It is advised that you purchase cancellation insurance the day you book your trip. GAH reserves the right to cancel trips due to insufficient bookings. Refunds are guaranteed in these circumstances |

Exchange Rates |
The current rate of exchange at time of deposit will be applied to foreign funds including US funds |

Flight Delays
|
Helicopters cannot fly in certain weather conditions. It is possible that clients may be delayed flying in or out of the lodges. GAH is not responsible for any costs incurred by an individual or group delayed in getting into any and all GAH Lodges due to adverse flight conditions |

Emergency Evacuation |
In the event of an incident that requires Evacuation, any and all members of a group evacuated from Golden Alpine Holiday tenure are responsible for 100% of the costs associated with the evacuation or evacuations. Check with your medical insurance company regarding coverage of Emergency Evacuation costs |

Assumption of Risk |
There are inherent risks associated with activities that you will experience at GAH. Each participant must acknowledge these risks by signing a Waiver of liability prior to their trip. A participant that has not properly signed a Waiver will not be allowed access to GAH terrain |
